DMCA Takedown Policy

This DMCA Takedown Policy is solely for reporting alleged copyright infringement involving content in the BoxxScore app. It does not apply to non-copyright matters such as privacy, harassment, impersonation, or defamation — for those, please use our Report a Concern process or email abuse@boxxscore.com.

Notice and Takedown

BoxxScore operates in the United States and respects the intellectual property rights of others. BoxxScore complies with the notice-and-takedown provisions of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”), 17 U.S.C. § 512, and may qualify for the DMCA’s safe-harbor protections as a “service provider” when applicable statutory requirements are met.

Notice of Claimed Infringement

If you believe your copyrighted work has been used in BoxxScore in a way that constitutes infringement, please send a written DMCA notice that includes:

  • (a) A physical or electronic signature of the person authorized to act for the copyright owner;
  • (b) A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed;
  • (c) Identification of the allegedly infringing material and enough detail to locate it in the app;
  • (d) Your name, mailing address, and email address;
  • (e) A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
  • (f) A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.

Where to Send DMCA Notices

DMCA notices may be submitted by email or by mail to our designated agent:

BoxxScore — Registered Agent

304 S. Jones Blvd, #3982

Las Vegas, NV 89107

United States

Email: dmca@boxxscore.com

Please do not send non-copyright inquiries here. General questions go to info@boxxscore.com; privacy, harassment, or impersonation reports go to abuse@boxxscore.com.

Counter-Notification

If you believe material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter- notification under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g) including:

  • (a) Identification of the removed material and where it appeared;
  • (b) A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake or misidentification;
  • (c) Your name, mailing address, and email address; and
  • (d) A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the appropriate U.S. Federal District Court and to accept service of process from the party who submitted the original notice.

Because BoxxScore allows users to post without providing their real-world identity, we may be unable to notify the original poster of a takedown. Counter-notifications may be sent to dmca@boxxscore.com or the address above.

Repeat Infringers & Abuse of Process

BoxxScore may terminate or restrict access for users determined to be repeat infringers. Anyone who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing — or was removed by mistake — may be liable under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).

Modifications

BoxxScore may update this DMCA Takedown Policy at any time. Please review it periodically for changes.
