BoxxScore (“we,” “our,” or “us”) values your trust. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use the BoxxScore mobile application (the “App”). By using BoxxScore, you agree to the practices described here.
We aim to collect only what we need to run a safe, reliable community. You don’t need to display your real name to other users — though, like any app, BoxxScore still processes the limited device and usage data described above in order to operate.
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We may share limited information only in these cases:
Content you submit may be visible to other members of the BoxxScore community. Do not submit content you are not authorized to share. We strictly prohibit explicit imagery, non-consensual content, private personal information, and any other material that violates our Terms or the law. We may remove any content that violates our policies.
We retain submitted content and usage data for as long as necessary to operate our services and comply with legal obligations. You may request removal of specific content you posted, or deletion of your data, as described in “Your Choices & Rights” below. We aim to honor verified deletion requests within 30 days, subject to legal-hold or fraud-prevention exceptions.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
BoxxScore is intended only for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from a minor, we will delete it. If you believe a minor has provided us information or is using BoxxScore, contact us at abuse@boxxscore.com and we will promptly investigate and remove it.
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you can ask us to remove specific content you submitted. To make a request, email info@boxxscore.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws.
Your regional rights. For example, under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) you may request to know, delete, or correct your personal information and opt out of any “sale” of it (we do not sell personal data); and under the EU/UK GDPR you may request access, erasure, or portability, or object to processing, and lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, email info@boxxscore.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.
BoxxScore is distributed through the Apple App Store. Any purchases are processed by Apple under your Apple ID, and Apple’s own privacy practices apply to that transaction. We do not receive your full payment details. We may also use third-party infrastructure providers (for hosting and analytics) who process limited data on our behalf.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the Effective Date above when we do, and for material changes we will provide reasonable notice (such as an in-app notice). Your continued use of BoxxScore after changes means you accept the updated policy.
This Privacy Policy forms part of, and is governed by, our Terms of Service — including their governing-law, arbitration, and class-action-waiver provisions. Any dispute relating to your privacy or this Policy is subject to those provisions.
